This 3 days trip will take you to central Mongolia’s beautiful Hustai National Park and Terelj National Park. Statute of Chinggis Khaan that is the largest in of its type in the world. You will have opportunities to visit a local nomadic family, experience staying in the traditional Mongolian dwelling, the Ger, ride horse, walk and relax in beautifully serene nature. Khustai National Park. “Takhi”, also known as Przewalski’s wild horses are protected in the Khustai national park. The park also contains a great diversity of other rare wildlife and plants. Visit the small Takhi wild horse museum and watch a short documentary film about Khustai National Park. In the late afternoon, enjoy seeing the Takhi wild horses and other wildlife.
- Watch a short documentary film about Khustai National Park and learn about the successful reintroduction of the rare Przewalski’s horse.
- Drive into the national park and stop at one of the designated viewing areas.
- Spend time searching for the wild horses and other wildlife, and try to observe them from a closer distance in their natural habitat.
- Have lunch on the way
We will visit nomadic family, learn about the basic nomadic way of the life. Feel free to ask any questions about their way of life. Do other daily activities. Play traditional Mongolian games and help the family and experience their daily work. Herd their livestock to pasture or collect and herd them back home. Do or help with any of these activities you choose.

Chinggis Khaan Statue complex is located in “Tsonjin Boldog”, a historical place where Chinggis Khaan found his golden whip. The statue was created as a memorial to the Man of the Millennium “Chinggis Khaan”. The 40 meter high stainless steel statue of Chinggis Khaan on the horseback is the largest of its kind in the world. Visitors can climb to the top of the horse’s head and have a farseeing and panoramic view over the complex area.
• You will continue your driving to the Chinggis Khaan’s Statue and enjoy the view of the surrounding area from the open balcony on Chinggis Khaan’s horse’s head.

Terelj National Park is a picturesque place of high granite cliffs that were eroded by natural forces creating a wonderful landscape of granite tors as if sculpted by some giant sculptor. Terelj is only 60-70 km east of Ulaanbaatar.Terelj National Park was established in 1993 and covers an area of 2932 square km in the southern Khan Khentii Mountain Range. This park has a landscape of transition from Siberian taiga forest to grass steppe. Most visited places in the park are Turtle Rock formation and Aryabal Meditation Temple.
